Happy thoughts

The cute character on my card today is Rakle Sitter. I think these Rakle stamps are so much fun and I love colouring them in bright colours. I have used my DCWV Taj Mahal papers and am really loving these colours! I picked up the lace a few months ago at my local market. The large flower, buttons and brad from my stash.

My Rakle is coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps for blending. I have also used my personalised Biksen stamp on the back of my card.
Don't forget there is still lots of time to join in our DT Reader challenge below! I'll leave you with a close-up of my image.

Hugs,

Rakle Sitter

This is
Rakle Sitter. How cute is she?! I'm telling you, these images are perfect for the tweens/teens in your life.
I don't actually have any in my inner circle, but I will have to find some to give these cards too! :D

Rakle is layered on some Nestabilities ovals, which I offset, and of course there's some ribbon and bling for good measure. The whole thing is popped up on a Die Cuts with a View (DCWV) card base. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things stamps.

This is also the first time I played with my copic markers. My coloring needs work, but I'm please with the shading I achieved on her jeans.

Enjoy the day!

Rakle Sitter

Rakle Sitter is painted with my favorites technics; Distress Ink. I've applied dark brown ink around the edges on all papers.

Rakle Sitter & Tretoppen

Here is my first try at a pop up card. It's the current challenge over at Ismaki. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be after I got started and I wanted to use that cute Tretoppen stamp.
After I got all finished I found this great tutorial by: Lilly Gershon if you'd like to make your own. It sure seems a lot easier after watching her video. Needless to say I didn't do it that way. Next time.
I really like how big these stamps are and how you can combine them with other accessory stamps to make a cute scene. They are so versatile

Here is a close up of the pop up.
I colored it with my prisma pencils and SU markers and used various paper from my stash. After I got all finished I had this huge green area at the bottom and decided to add some ribbon and Prima flowers with pearls to take up space. Now to just decorate the front.
